Unzip is a late-night AI companion service provided by Unzip Team. It is designed for calm conversation, gentle storytelling, breathing guidance, and relaxation support. Because the service works through user-initiated chat, this notice explains what information enters the service, why it is processed, how long it exists, and what limits apply to that processing.
The goal of Unzip is to keep data handling narrow, temporary, and understandable.
Nothing is uploaded or collected unless you actively interact with the app. Unzip does not require you to submit identity documents, social profiles, or personal background details in order to access its core functions. The primary content processed by the service is the content you choose to type and send during a conversation.
This means the service begins only when you decide to engage with it.
When you chat with Unzip, the app processes the text you voluntarily submit so it can return a response, continue a calming conversation, guide a breathing exercise, or present a sleep-oriented story. In addition to chat content, limited technical information such as device type, app version, or error logs may also be handled to keep the app stable and functioning properly.
These two categories are treated differently. Your text inputs are used to generate the requested conversational output. Technical signals are used only to support performance, debugging, and reliability. They are not used to profile you.
Unzip is not built to gather broad personal data. It does not intentionally collect contact lists, photos, camera content, precise location, government identification numbers, or biometric information. It does not attempt to determine your real-world identity from what you write, and it does not build advertising profiles based on your usage.
No images, audio recordings, or videos are collected unless explicitly submitted during chat.
The service is also not designed to monitor you outside the app or track your activity across other apps or websites.
The processing purpose is limited and specific. Chat content is used only to generate the response or guidance you asked for at that moment, such as a calming reply, a short nighttime story, or a relaxation prompt. Technical information is handled only to maintain performance and resolve operational issues.
Your information is not used for advertising, behavioral targeting, or unrelated secondary purposes. It is not used to sell products to you, to create a commercial profile, or to expand into external analytics use.
Unzip operates through internally controlled AI processing systems. User-submitted content is handled within the service environment operated by Unzip Team. We do not route your chat content to third-party AI platforms for response generation, and we do not make your conversations available to outside AI vendors.user explicitly agrees to internal-only processing.
This is an important boundary of the service. The conversation exists to produce the response you requested inside Unzip, and not for external reuse.
Unzip follows a limited-duration processing model. When you send a message, it is processed for the purpose of generating a reply. Temporary working data may exist during that response cycle. Once the requested output has been produced, temporary processing data is automatically removed from active processing flow.
If the app includes a visible conversation history or saved in-app session view, that history exists only so you can continue or review your own interaction. Content that remains visible to you in the app is under your control. If you delete such content from within the app, it is permanently removed and cannot be restored.
Unzip does not keep user-submitted chat content longer than necessary for service operation and user-visible continuity.
To avoid confusion, Unzip does not use your messages to run advertising systems, does not sell or rent your content, and does not disclose conversation content to unrelated third parties. User-submitted content is also not used to train external AI services.
If disclosure is ever required, it would occur only where applicable law or a valid legal process requires it.
You choose whether to start a conversation, what to say, whether to continue, and whether to remove any saved in-app content made available to you. Because Unzip is built around voluntary interaction, you remain in control of whether your content enters the service at all.
Stopping use of the app stops further submission and processing.
Although Unzip may provide calming conversation, sleep-oriented storytelling, breathing prompts, or relaxation support, it is not a medical service and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or monitor health conditions. The app is designed as a comfort and companionship tool, not as a substitute for professional care.
This distinction matters because the service is not designed to collect or maintain medical records.
Unzip is intended for users aged 17 and above. It is not directed to children. If we become aware that information has been submitted by someone below the intended age threshold, that information will be removed as appropriate.
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information while it is transmitted and processed, including controlled internal environments and appropriate technical protections. Even so, no digital system can be guaranteed to be completely immune from risk, and users should understand that absolute security cannot be promised.
As the product changes, this notice may also change. When it does, the updated version date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of Unzip after an update means the revised notice applies to future use of the service.
By sending a message, starting a guided interaction, or continuing to use Unzip’s chat-based features, you are giving explicit and affirmative consent for the content you voluntarily submit to be processed for the limited purpose of generating the requested responses and in-app guidance. That consent applies only within the scope described in this notice: internal processing, no unrelated secondary use, no sale of content, and no disclosure to third-party AI providers for generation purposes.
If you do not agree to such processing, you should not use the chat features of Unzip.
